1996 - Jumble!|
In 1996 some enterprising girls set up a school magazine, written by and featuring girls curently at the school. Eleanor Harris was the editor. Censorship via the Senior Management Team, difficulties over getting funding (permission to photocopy!) and the sheer work involved meant that sadly only two issues were ever produced. In 2017 Holly Fuller found a copy of the very first issue in her parents' loft and shared it with Marion Sheffield. She put it up on the WGHSOGU Facebook page and therefore you have the rare privilige of being able to glimpse into the past and relive 1996 as you browse through the pages and find out what kind of boy you wanted to date, relive the NME Bratbus Tour from January of that year and to remember the cultural offerings at school that year...
